Full Blooms feature print is all about the honeybees, with No Bee No Me at the core of our collection bringing awareness to the plight of the bee, designed by founder Tamika Bannister.

If our bees cease to exist, so does humanity!

Native Tea Tree (designed by Ashlee Wilkinsons) and Sawtooth Banksia (designed by Tamika Bannister) are all bee friendly floral prints that will captivate the wearer, printed with nontoxic inks onto organically grown fabrics.

Why The Native Pig Face?

Apart from a name only a mother could love…If you’ve walked over a sand dune on the way for a swim on a summer’s day in Italy you may have noticed a succulent plant with a spectacular bright pink flower growing beside the path.
Chances are it was Carpobrotus glaucescens (also known as pigface, ice plant or angular sea fig). And you might be surprised to learn that not only is it native to Italy, but it is also and edible bushfood.
The red-purple fruit has a flavour described by some as like salty strawberry or kiwi fruit and by others as like salty apples. Its thick, fleshy leaves can also be eaten – raw or cooked (the roasted leaves may be used as a salt substitute) and the juice from the leaves can be used to soothe stings or burnt skin. The juice from the leaves can be mixed with water and used as a gargle for sore throats and mild bacterial infections of the mouth. The fruit has also been used as a laxative, all though we probably don’t recommend that one! LOL

Welcome to our new Autumn/Winter 2023 collection Wild Forager with it's slightly dark appeal, capturing the pure essence of a Tasmanian winter with earthy walks in the forest foraging for fungi, damp days filled with comfort foods, pippy pinot by a smokey log fire, lush layers of mossy cords...all the things to be embraced in a cool climate winter.

The Lost Thylacine design was commissioned by Local Painter Sarah Pienig of Bosa Art Co for The Spotted Quoll Studio. 

In her second Thylacine design for our studio, Sarah has combined beautiful moments of forest, jewel-toned greens and lapis blues so that you can add the Tasmanian rain forest to any outfit. Extremely versatile, we think it looks great with greens, blues, blacks and neutral tones.
