No, that isn’t a typo.
Those three words sparked a change in me that I never thought possible.
Ten years ago I found myself at my wit's end. I was living a vicious cycle of bad relationships, negative thinking, self-sabotage, and surrounded by problematic people who I blamed for the root of my problems. I decided I needed to be proactive about the situation. I purchased a book called: Dealing with Difficult People.
Perfect, I thought! A book that will help me tolerate all the difficult people in my life. Three chapters in, I stared down at the page and couldn’t believe my eyes. The page read: “maybe it’s you.”
I thought this was ridiculous! This book was supposed to equip me with the tools to deal with the unmanageable and tiring people I constantly found myself surrounded by.
I’d become so accustomed to blaming others for the situation my life was in that I had never, ever considered the solution to my problem could lie within myself. This book went on to completely shift my perspective about dealing with adversity in life.
This was the beginning of my personal development journey.
Ten years later I have completed numerous courses in life coaching and personal mastery. Working as a finance manager for 12 years and having only ever experienced the corporate world, I took the plunge and started my own business in 2014 called INSITE Mind.
The response my practice received in the first 6 months was overwhelming. There was a demand for self-development that just wasn’t being met in Perth. Combining my industry experience and new found skills in life coaching and development, I created and founded a corporate program and individual program that opened up the world of personal development for clients and companies throughout Perth.
I believe in helping people to take the step towards a happy, positive outlook on life in any way feasible. My range of stationary and gift packs are designed to assist those who are ready to look inside themselves for the answers. I am so passionate about sharing my love for learning and growth with the world. The adversity I have faced in my life has only made me more determined to help others see that there is another way!

Sizing Recommendations
We recommend the inner sole of the Bobbi boot to be around the same length as your foot (no less). The neoprene lining around your foot will soften over time.
We suggest you go with your standard shoe size (don't order bigger for socks.) If you wear thick socks, then measure your foot wearing the thicker socks.
FAQS
Are the boots true to size?
Our boots run true to size, so we recommend ordering your normal shoe size. The size guide on the product page shows the innersole measurements making it easy to compare our boots to an existing pair of shoes you already own. For half sizes, we recommend sizing down.
Will they stretch?
Both natural rubber and neoprene have flexibility and elasticity, so our boots will soften as you wear them. The boots are initially a little snug, they will stretch over time. The neoprene lining also has similar properties to memory foam so will mould to your feet over time.
Can you add orthotics?
Yes, all Merry People boots have a removable inner sole, which makes it easy to add inserts. We recommend you check the length of your orthotic against the length of the Merry People inner sole to ensure a comfortable fit.

Tasmanian Oak is pale to light brown colour, with intermediate shades of cream to pink. Her growth rings are visible, but not prominent and gum veins are common.
Made to house your small posies, picked flowers, foraged green foliage or perfect propagation

Apart from a name only a mother could love…If you’ve walked over a sand dune on the way for a swim on a summer’s day in Italy you may have noticed a succulent plant with a spectacular bright pink flower growing beside the path.
Chances are it was Carpobrotus glaucescens (also known as pigface, ice plant or angular sea fig). And you might be surprised to learn that not only is it native to Italy, but it is also and edible bushfood.
The red-purple fruit has a flavour described by some as like salty strawberry or kiwi fruit and by others as like salty apples. Its thick, fleshy leaves can also be eaten – raw or cooked (the roasted leaves may be used as a salt substitute) and the juice from the leaves can be used to soothe stings or burnt skin. The juice from the leaves can be mixed with water and used as a gargle for sore throats and mild bacterial infections of the mouth. The fruit has also been used as a laxative, all though we probably don’t recommend that one! LOL

Uimi products are made from superior quality yarns and need special attention when laundering. Always follow the care label precisely.
Heat and agitation will damage the natural fibres and must be avoided during the cleaning process.
Gently hand wash in cold water. Do not machine wash.
We recommend placing a natural moth and silverfish repellent - such as huon pine - near your stored wool items.

Why The Native Pig Face?
Apart from a name only a mother could love…If you’ve walked over a sand dune on the way for a swim on a summer’s day in Italy you may have noticed a succulent plant with a spectacular bright pink flower growing beside the path.
Chances are it was Carpobrotus glaucescens (also known as pigface, ice plant or angular sea fig). And you might be surprised to learn that not only is it native to Italy, but it is also and edible bushfood.
The red-purple fruit has a flavour described by some as like salty strawberry or kiwi fruit and by others as like salty apples. Its thick, fleshy leaves can also be eaten – raw or cooked (the roasted leaves may be used as a salt substitute) and the juice from the leaves can be used to soothe stings or burnt skin. The juice from the leaves can be mixed with water and used as a gargle for sore throats and mild bacterial infections of the mouth. The fruit has also been used as a laxative, all though we probably don’t recommend that one! LOL
